The WFD Technology Trailer
consists of a Ford F350 diesel powered
pickup and an 18' dual axle trailer.
We have used 80/20 aluminum framing to
customize the interior of the trailer. 99% of everything you see
in the trailer was built with 80/20. The trailer is designed to
be fitted with 13 - 2' x 4' product display panels and a portable
rack holds an additional 4 panels. On these 17 panels you will find
the over 1000 pneumatic components displayed covering the entire
range of products - air preparation, valves, actuators, compressors,
vacuum components, fittings and accessories.
Onboard compressed air
system and AC power
Product display panels are supplied
with compressed air via the supply manifolds behind them. The inverter
system provides enough AC power to operate the interior trailer
lighting, heating system and display panels.
The trailer continually travels through
the Northwest rotating between each of our four distribution centers.
The product displays are evolving and changing, so what you saw
a year ago, isn't necessarily what you'll see tomorrow. Currently
in production is a PLC controlled vacuum pick n' place system. The
system will operate in an enclosed plexiglass case to illustrate
the vacuum components unique ability to operate in a UNfiltered,
sawdust choked environment. This display is due for completion Fall
of 2002.
